What is Skills Bootcamp?

It's a free 6-week virtual skills training programme for current students and recent graduates. Through weekly interactive sessions and micro-projects (see program details here), the Skill Bootcamp is designed to help you develop your employability skills, build a digital portfolio, and connect to a variety of internship and job opportunities.

You will be expected to dedicate anywhere between 10 to 15 hours per week (including webinars, group exercises and other calendar sessions), but can work on a flexible schedule. You will receive comprehensive feedback and a certificate on successful completion of the week!

Personal Branding

Learn how to structure your CV & LinkedIn, pack a punch during interviews and gain the right exposure for yourself.

Date: 4th to 8th July 2022

Prototyping

Gain insight into how to convert your ideas into working prototypes. Learn how to build a prototype from scratch through our interactive masterclass!

Date: 25th to 29th July 2022

Foundational Skills

Participate in transferable workplace skill building sessions through group exercises that will develop your teamwork skills.

Date: 11th to 15th July 2022

Design Thinking

Understand how to user test and get constructive feedback. Get a chance to run your own team design sprint, create and assign tasks, and manage time.

Date: 1st to 5th August 2022

Analytical & Critical Thinking

Participate in interactive group exercises and a micro-project to develop your analytical, critical and creative thinking skills.

Date: 18th to 22nd July 2022

Presentation Skills

Practice designing bold and impactful presentation slides, and pitching your ideas in a concise, cohesive, and gripping manner

Date: 8th to 12th August 2022
