What is UniHack?

  • For the third time, ProjectSet is back with our annual hackathon UniHack.
  • UniHack is a virtual competition where participants address topical, hot-button issues by creating innovative solutions, that create a change in the worlds of business, technology and society.
  • Open to all university students and recent graduates, UniHack provides a beginner-friendly forum for skill development and theory application.
  • There are three tracks participants can choose from - Tech, Biz and Social.
  • Whether they are striving to make sustainable social changes to make the world a more equitable place or wanting to utilise the latest technologies to aid efficiency, there is a UniHack for everyone!
  • Students will work collaboratively with others from various universities across the UK, presenting solutions, ideas and proposals that could one day create real change.
  • Alongside the hackathon, ProjectSet will be running skills workshops and facilitating mentorship from industry experts and professionals; this means students will be able to learn as they go and gain informed feedback to help develop their ideas and proposals.
  • Furthermore, the top teams from UniHack will be invited back for a 2-week mentorship where they can work on their ideas in-depth, pitch them to a panel of carefully selected judges, and win awesome prizes! For more information on this year’s prizes and sponsors, check out UniHack 2022 on our website which we will be regularly updating.
